Urban planner, poet and photographer, Arno Braet explores how things connect, how cities come alive, and how small details can reveal large truths. His education in architecture shaped his eye for detail, and his poetry puts it into words. His poetry and his photographs share the same gaze, unhurried, curious, taking the time to appreciate what often goes unnoticed. Under the name Grezhnev, he wrote 30 poems about girls, capturing the fragility of the love poem. In 2025, he co-created ‘t Kadaster, a community hub transforming a former police station into a space for artists and thinkers, a place where new ideas and logics can emerge.
