With the Feel Me, Hear Me: Echoes from the Metropole tour guide that Extra Extra created for the 2025 Performa Biennial, we thought we’d take it a bit further and walk together as a communal, sensorial something. To find ways to give expression to the diasporic, queer and artist communities that vitalise the city. So last November, Extra Extra and Performa presented twelve walks through New York, gifting the city a narrative of intimacy. Besides a solitary activity, walking can be an act of solidarity, a way to attune to one another. To let your senses roam freely, to see that which you walk past anew.
